Specification

The slew drive plays a key role in the photovoltaic photothermal (CSP, Concentrated Solar Power) system, and is mainly used to achieve precise tracking of the solar focusing system and the rotation of the concentrator. Photovoltaic photothermal system is a technology that uses solar energy to generate high temperature for generating electricity by focusing sunlight on a collector.

In photovoltaic photothermal systems, in order to make the concentrator (reflector or other concentrating device) always face the sun, the slew drive is used to control the rotation of the concentrator. By adjusting the direction of the concentrator in real time, the system can maximize the use of solar energy and ensure that the light is accurately concentrated on the collector.
